Research
The seed is an evolutionary novelty of land plants which as contributed to improve plant fitness. Consequently, seed plants, the most abundant plant lineage on earth constitute a turning point in land plant evolution.
My research is based on the understanding of this fascinating, complex and diverse structure. And so far, I have two main areas of research:
