From July 26–30, 2025, Ormary Alvarez — a SCINet intern and undergraduate student at Lehman College — received a PLANTS fellowship to attend BOTANY 2025 in Palm Springs, California. There, she presented a poster sharing her most recent results on Wollemia ovule development. This experience was a wonderful opportunity for Ormary to share her work with the broader botanical community and connect with researchers from across the field.
